Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Suonatrice Di Mandola, Liutista by Antonio Mancini was sold in the 19th Century European Art auction at Sothebys in New York in January 2020. The price achieved of USD 52,500.00 (€ 47,327.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Antonio Mancini - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of W.B. Yeats, which sold at auction in September 2017 for GBP 112,500.00 (€ 127,632.69).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 47.327,14) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden.
