Auction result misses estimated price range

In July 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Lake Maggiore with Isola Bella, and Isola dei Pescatori beyond by Antonio Joli for GBP 62,500.00 (€ 69,740.40). This price was achieved in the auction Old Masters Day Sale at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 70,000.00 – 100,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonio Joli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Capriccio With The French Ambassador Approaching The King Of Siam’S Palace In A State Barge, In October 1685, Featuring The White Porcelain Pagoda, From Nanjing, China, On The Left in October last year with an auction result of USD 3,300,000.00 (€ 3,321,924.70).

Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne

Im Juli 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Lake Maggiore with Isola Bella, and Isola dei Pescatori beyond von Antonio Joli für GBP 62.500,00 (€ 69.740,40) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Masters Day Sale bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 70.000,00 – 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antonio Joli erzielen.
