Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Natura Morta by Antonio Donghi was sold in the Arte Moderna e Contemporanea & Identita’ Italiana un’Importante Collezione Privata auction at Sothebys in Milan in November 2011. It changed hands for a price of EUR 39,150.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Antonio Donghi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ragazzi Alla Finestra in April 2018 with an auction result of EUR 175,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Natura Morta von Antonio Donghi wurde im November 2011 in der Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea & Identita’ Italiana un’Importante Collezione Privata bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 39.150,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Antonio Donghi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ragazzi Alla Finestra im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 175.000,00.
