Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2002 a collector was able to acquire the work A drover with cattle and sheep on a wooded track by Antonio Cordero Cortés for GBP 1,880.00 (€ 3,088.85). This price was achieved in the auction BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Antonio Cordero Cortés have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in December 2003 by the work Pascolo sul sentiero at EUR 4,340.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2002 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A drover with cattle and sheep on a wooded track von Antonio Cordero Cortés für GBP 1.880,00 (€ 3.088,85) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Antonio Cordero Cortés wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Dezember 2003 die Arbeit Pascolo sul sentiero mit EUR 4.340,00.
