Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Roses, Hydrangea, Tulips and other Flowers with a Bee on a Stone Ledge by Antonio Cordero Cortés was auctioned at Christies in New York in February 2003. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,553.50 (€ 1,441.23). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Antonio Cordero Cortés - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pascolo sul sentiero, which sold at auction in December 2003 for EUR 4,340.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Roses, Hydrangea, Tulips and other Flowers with a Bee on a Stone Ledge von Antonio Cordero Cortés kam im Februar 2003 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.553,50 (€ 1.441,23) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Antonio Cordero Cortés mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pascolo sul sentiero beobachtet, die im Dezember 2003 für EUR 4.340,00 versteigert wurde.
