Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Antonio Blanco could be acquired at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Asia: Art on the Runway auction, the work Girls; & The Old Sculptor – Bali (Carving the figure of a nude dancer) changed hands for HKD 22,500.00 (€ 2,609.58) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonio Blanco achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Balinese Woman With Child in October 2012 with an auction result of HKD 3,140,000.00 (€ 312,594.54).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Antonio Blanco konnte im November 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Asia: Art on the Runway wechselte die Arbeit Girls; & The Old Sculptor – Bali (Carving the figure of a nude dancer) für HKD 22.500,00 (€ 2.609,58) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antonio Blanco erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Balinese Woman With Child im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.140.000,00 (€ 312.594,54).
