Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Portrait Of A Gentleman, Half Length, Wearing A Blue Coat And Waistcoat, Holding A Hat by Anton von Maron was sold in the Old Master and Early British Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in October 2008. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,356.46). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anton von Maron achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Du Maréchal Jourda De Vaux Et De Sa Fille in April 2014 with an auction result of EUR 199,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Portrait Of A Gentleman, Half Length, Wearing A Blue Coat And Waistcoat, Holding A Hat von Anton von Maron wurde im Oktober 2008 in der Auktion Old Master and Early British Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert.
