Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Interieur No. 347 by Anton Henning was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, New York auction at Phillips in 7 - in December this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 4,445.00 (€ 4,018.26) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anton Henning achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spiel im Gegenlicht No. 2 in October 2006 with an auction result of GBP 54,000.00 (€ 80,680.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Interieur No. 347 von Anton Henning wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, New York bei Phillips in 7 - versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 4.445,00 (€ 4.018,26) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anton Henning erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spiel im Gegenlicht No. 2 im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 54.000,00 (€ 80.680,81).
