Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait der Agathe Dorothea Elisabeth "Lisette" von Rutenberg (1770-1832). by Anton Graff was sold in the Fine Art auction at VAN HAM in May this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 26,400.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Anton Graff have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Group portrait of the daughters of Johann Julius von Vieth und Glossenau: Juliane Corline, Edle von der Planitz (1752-1832), Sophie Juliane Elisabeth, Gräfin d'Agrollo (1748-1832) and Juliane Charlotte, Gräfin von Todtleben (1754-1840), half-length in December 2002 with an auction result of GBP 111,150.00 (€ 170,620.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait der Agathe Dorothea Elisabeth "Lisette" von Rutenberg (1770-1832). von Anton Graff wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Fine Art bei VAN HAM versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 26.400,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anton Graff auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Group portrait of the daughters of Johann Julius von Vieth und Glossenau: Juliane Corline, Edle von der Planitz (1752-1832), Sophie Juliane Elisabeth, Gräfin d'Agrollo (1748-1832) and Juliane Charlotte, Gräfin von Todtleben (1754-1840), half-length im Dezember 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 111.150,00 (€ 170.620,82).
