Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2001 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work A panoramic summer landscape by Anton Dircks. The price achieved of NLG 1,292.50 (€ 598.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as NLG 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anton Dircks - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sailing-vessels and gondolas, Venice, which sold at auction in February 2008 for EUR 2,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2001 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit A panoramic summer landscape von Anton Dircks zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von NLG 1.292,50 (€ 598,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit NLG 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Anton Dircks mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sailing-vessels and gondolas, Venice beobachtet, die im Februar 2008 für EUR 2.250,00 versteigert wurde.
