Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Anton Bruehl could be acquired at Christies in New York in October 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the MoMA: Pictorialism into Modernism auction, the work Young Girls of the Pueblo, 1932 changed hands for USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,609.72) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anton Bruehl achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Stocking ad, 1930s in April 2019 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,087.49).
