Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2011 Christies in London held the auction Centuries of Style: Silver, European Ceramics, Glass, Portrait Miniatures and Gold Boxes, which included the work Unknown by Antoine Vestier. The price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,382.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antoine Vestier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Autoportrait De L'Artiste in March 2016 with an auction result of EUR 119,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion Centuries of Style: Silver, European Ceramics, Glass, Portrait Miniatures and Gold Boxes durch, in der auch die Arbeit Unknown von Antoine Vestier zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.382,89) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antoine Vestier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Autoportrait De L'Artiste im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 119.600,00.
