The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,800.00 (€ 2,673.06), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antoine Vestier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Autoportrait De L'Artiste in March 2016 with an auction result of EUR 119,600.00.
