Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2011 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Master Drawings, which included the work Study Of A Putto by Antoine Coypel. The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,557.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antoine Coypel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Allegory Of Music (A Portrait Of Mme. De Maintenon With The Natural Children Of Louis Xiv) in January 2015 with an auction result of USD 1,565,000.00 (€ 1,386,182.46).
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Allegory Of Music (A Portrait Of Mme. De Maintenon With The Natural Children Of Louis Xiv) im Januar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.565.000,00 (€ 1.386.182,46).
