Sold at the upper estimate price
The work A Draped Female Figure (Study For L'Abondance) by Antoine Coypel was sold in the Old Master & Early British Drawings & Watercolors Including an Important Canadian Collection and a Distinguished Private Collection auction at Christies in New York in January 2013. The auction ended at the price of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,361.60), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antoine Coypel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Allegory Of Music (A Portrait Of Mme. De Maintenon With The Natural Children Of Louis Xiv) in January 2015 with an auction result of USD 1,565,000.00 (€ 1,386,182.46).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit A Draped Female Figure (Study For L'Abondance) von Antoine Coypel wurde im Januar 2013 in der Auktion Old Master & Early British Drawings & Watercolors Including an Important Canadian Collection and a Distinguished Private Collection bei Christies in New York versteigert. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Allegory Of Music (A Portrait Of Mme. De Maintenon With The Natural Children Of Louis Xiv) im Januar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.565.000,00 (€ 1.386.182,46).
