Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Le Haleur by Anto Carte for EUR 62,500.00. This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist and Modern Art at Sothebys in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 80,000.00 – 120,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Anto Carte have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Pain in March 2019 with an auction result of EUR 516,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Le Haleur von Anto Carte für EUR 62.500,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art bei Sothebys in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anto Carte auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Pain im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 516.500,00.
