A top price for Anthony Frost - as previously expected
In March 2007 Sothebys in Olympia held the auction 20th Century British & Irish Art, which included this untitled work by Anthony Frost. The price achieved of GBP 1,680.00 (€ 2,472.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Anthony Frost that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im März 2007 führte Sothebys in Olympia die Auktion 20th Century British & Irish Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Anthony Frost zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.680,00 (€ 2.472,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist dieses Werk ohne Titel das teuerste Kunstwerk von Anthony Frost, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
