Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Dust Blows Forward The Dust Blows Back by Anthony Frost was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in London in December 2020. The price achieved of GBP 956.25 (€ 1,068.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anthony Frost - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in March 2007 for GBP 1,680.00 (€ 2,472.77).

Die Arbeit The Dust Blows Forward The Dust Blows Back von Anthony Frost wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 956,25 (€ 1.068,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Anthony Frost mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im März 2007 für GBP 1.680,00 (€ 2.472,77) versteigert wurde.
