A top price for Anthony Pryor - as previously expected
The work Standing Figure No. I, (Army Marker), 1986 by Anthony Pryor was sold in the Important Australian Art auction at Bonhams in Sydney / Melbourne in August 2021. The price achieved of AUD 11,070.00 (€ 9,381.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 9,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Standing Figure No. I, (Army Marker), 1986 is the most expensive artwork by Anthony Pryor that we have observed at auctions so far.
