Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2006 Christies in Melbourne held the auction Australian, International & Contemporary Paintings Part II, which included the work Brass Sculpture No. III by Anthony Pryor. The price achieved of AUD 9,560.00 (€ 5,750.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Anthony Pryor have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in August 2021 the work Standing Figure No. I, (Army Marker), 1986 was auctioned for AUD 11,070.00 (€ 9,381.36).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 9.560,00 (€ 5.750,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden.
