Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A view of the Grote Kerk of Dordrecht by Anthonie Pieter Schotel was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2002. The price achieved of EUR 3,290.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,800.00 – 3,600.00. Admittedly, works by Anthonie Pieter Schotel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rush hour on the Place de L'Opéra, Paris in February 2008 with an auction result of EUR 18,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A view of the Grote Kerk of Dordrecht von Anthonie Pieter Schotel kam im Januar 2002 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.290,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.800,00 – 3.600,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anthonie Pieter Schotel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rush hour on the Place de L'Opéra, Paris im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 18.250,00.
