In June 2002 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art including Ottomans and Orientalist, which included the work Outside the farm by Anthonie Jacobus van Wyngaerdt. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 7,637.50 (€ 11,813.48), 53% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Anthonie Jacobus van Wyngaerdt; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot A country cottage sold at auction in March 2000 with the realized price of USD 16,100.00 (€ 16,816.38).

Im Juni 2002 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art including Ottomans and Orientalist durch, in der auch die Arbeit Outside the farm von Anthonie Jacobus van Wyngaerdt zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 7.637,50 (€ 11.813,48) und damit 53% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Anthonie Jacobus van Wyngaerdt; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit A country cottage im März 2000 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 16.100,00 (€ 16.816,38).
