A top price for Anthonie Victoryns - as previously expected
The work Le Repos Des Paysans by Anthonie Victoryns was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in June 2008. The price achieved of EUR 6,875.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Le Repos Des Paysans is the most expensive artwork by Anthonie Victoryns that we have observed at auctions so far.
