Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2018 Christies in London held the auction Handpicked: 50 Works Selected by the Saatchi Gallery, which included the work The Waitress by Anthea Hamilton. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,650.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Anthea Hamilton have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2019 the work Ancient Of Days was auctioned for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,979.60).

Im Juni 2018 führte Christies in London die Auktion Handpicked: 50 Works Selected by the Saatchi Gallery durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Waitress von Anthea Hamilton zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.650,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden.
