Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ansel Adams could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in June 2010 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Photographs from the Polaroid Collection auction, the work Stream And Ocean, Marin County, Calif. changed hands for USD 9,375.00 (€ 7,627.53) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ansel Adams achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Grand Tetons and the Snake River, Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming in December 2020 with an auction result of USD 988,000.00 (€ 807,849.55).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ansel Adams konnte im Juni 2010 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
