In December 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction A Grand Vision: The David H. Arrington Collection of Ansel Adams Masterworks, which included the work The Grand Tetons and the Snake River, Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming by Ansel Adams. The »bidding war« ended at USD 988,000.00 (€ 807,849.55), 65% above the upper estimate.
