Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Mt. Mckinley And Wonder Lake, Alaska by Ansel Adams was sold in the Photographs from the Polaroid Collection auction at Sothebys in New York in June 2010. Here, the upper estimate of USD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 53,125.00 (€ 43,222.68). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ansel Adams achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Grand Tetons and the Snake River, Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming in December 2020 with an auction result of USD 988,000.00 (€ 807,849.55).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Mt. Mckinley And Wonder Lake, Alaska von Ansel Adams wurde im Juni 2010 in der Auktion Photographs from the Polaroid Collection bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 53.125,00 (€ 43.222,68) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ansel Adams erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Grand Tetons and the Snake River, Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 988.000,00 (€ 807.849,55).
