In June 2001 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction TWENTIETH CENTURY ART INCLUDING BELGIAN ART, which included the work Ruimte - Space by Ans Markus. Here, the upper estimate of NLG 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for NLG 21,150.00 (€ 10,165.68). With this result, Ruimte - Space is even the most expensive work of art by Ans Markus that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Ans Markus
Im Juni 2001 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion TWENTIETH CENTURY ART INCLUDING BELGIAN ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ruimte - Space von Ans Markus zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von NLG 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für NLG 21.150,00 (€ 10.165,68) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Ruimte - Space sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Ans Markus, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
