Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of HKD 437,500.00 (€ 49,556.02), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 22%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Annie Cabigting - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Conditions of the Feminine, which sold at auction in November 2019 for HKD 1,375,000.00 (€ 159,474.54).

Die Arbeit Destroyed Painting (After Francis Bacon) von Annie Cabigting wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion 21st Century Art Day Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 437.500,00 (€ 49.556,02) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 22%. Für andere Arbeiten von Annie Cabigting mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Conditions of the Feminine beobachtet, die im November 2019 für HKD 1.375.000,00 (€ 159.474,54) versteigert wurde.
