Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Annie Cabigting achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2015. In the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction, the work Mesdames sold for HKD 687,500.00 (€ 80,669.00) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 280,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Annie Cabigting; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Conditions of the Feminine sold at auction in November 2019 with the realized price of HKD 1,375,000.00 (€ 159,474.54).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Annie Cabigting erzielte im Mai 2015 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) wurde die Arbeit Mesdames für HKD 687.500,00 (€ 80.669,00) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 280.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Annie Cabigting; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Conditions of the Feminine im November 2019 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 1.375.000,00 (€ 159.474,54).
