Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Untitled, 1994 by Anne Tholstrup was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in March this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of DKK 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 3,200.00 (€ 429.43). Other works by Anne Tholstrup have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in February this year by the work Untitled, 1991 at DKK 4,000.00 (€ 537.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Untitled, 1994 von Anne Tholstrup im März diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von DKK 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 3.200,00 (€ 429,43) den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Anne Tholstrup wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Februar diesen Jahres die Arbeit Untitled, 1991 mit DKK 4.000,00 (€ 537,26).
