Upper estimate price exceeded by 43 %.
In April last year Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Day Auction, which included the work Reflection K-49 by Anne Kagioka Rigoulet. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 214,200.00 (€ 25,898.34), 43% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anne Kagioka Rigoulet - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Figure k-h-6, which sold at auction in July 2021 for USD 69,300.00 (€ 58,412.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 43 % übertroffen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Reflection K-49 von Anne Kagioka Rigoulet zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 214.200,00 (€ 25.898,34) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Anne Kagioka Rigoulet mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Figure k-h-6 beobachtet, die im Juli 2021 für USD 69.300,00 (€ 58.412,00) versteigert wurde.
