Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Anne Kagioka Rigoulet achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2021. In the Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Reflection k-50 sold for HKD 441,000.00 (€ 49,055.14) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Anne Kagioka Rigoulet; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Figure k-h-6 sold at auction in July 2021 with the realized price of USD 69,300.00 (€ 58,412.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Anne Kagioka Rigoulet erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Reflection k-50 für HKD 441.000,00 (€ 49.055,14) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Anne Kagioka Rigoulet; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Figure k-h-6 im Juli 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 69.300,00 (€ 58.412,00).
