Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Whale Rock by Anne Estelle Rice for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,459.77). This price was achieved in the auction Scottish Art at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anne Estelle Rice achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Regatta Day in June 2018 with an auction result of GBP 125,000.00 (€ 141,271.30).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Whale Rock von Anne Estelle Rice für GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.459,77) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Scottish Art bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anne Estelle Rice erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Regatta Day im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 125.000,00 (€ 141.271,30).
