Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Scottish Art, which included the work Still Life Of Fruit And A Pitcher by Anne Estelle Rice. The price achieved of GBP 11,970.00 (€ 13,362.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anne Estelle Rice achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Regatta Day in June 2018 with an auction result of GBP 125,000.00 (€ 141,271.30).
