Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tall Trees by Anne Estelle Rice was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,099.62) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anne Estelle Rice achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Regatta Day in June 2018 with an auction result of GBP 125,000.00 (€ 141,271.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tall Trees von Anne Estelle Rice kam im November 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.099,62) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anne Estelle Rice erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Regatta Day im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 125.000,00 (€ 141.271,30).
