Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work High Tide at Millbank by Anne Estelle Rice was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Christies in London in July 2013. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,711.77). Admittedly, works by Anne Estelle Rice have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Regatta Day in June 2018 with an auction result of GBP 125,000.00 (€ 141,271.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit High Tide at Millbank von Anne Estelle Rice wurde im Juli 2013 in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.711,77) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anne Estelle Rice auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Regatta Day im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 125.000,00 (€ 141.271,30).
