In January this year Christies in New York held the auction 19th Century American Art, which included the work Yawning Tiger by Anna Hyatt Huntington. The »bidding war« ended at USD 20,160.00 (€ 18,566.96), 34% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anna Hyatt Huntington achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Diana Of The Chase in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 225,000.00 (€ 189,107.41).

Im Januar diesen Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion 19th Century American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Yawning Tiger von Anna Hyatt Huntington zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 20.160,00 (€ 18.566,96) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anna Hyatt Huntington erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Diana Of The Chase im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 225.000,00 (€ 189.107,41).
