Auction result misses estimated price range
In May this year a collector was able to acquire the work Jaguar Reaching (Panther) by Anna Hyatt Huntington for USD 3,840.00 (€ 3,604.28). This price was achieved in the auction American Art at Bonhams in Paris and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anna Hyatt Huntington achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Diana Of The Chase in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 225,000.00 (€ 189,107.41).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Jaguar Reaching (Panther) von Anna Hyatt Huntington für USD 3.840,00 (€ 3.604,28) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion American Art bei Bonhams in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anna Hyatt Huntington erzielen.
