Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Red City by Anna Boghiguian was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including Baghdadiyat Part IIIraqi Masterpieces from the Jawdat, Madhloom and Selim Collections auction at Bonhams in London in November 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 10,200.00 (€ 11,975.76). Admittedly, works by Anna Boghiguian have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work El-Imam El Shafie, Cairo in November this year with an auction result of GBP 57,550.00 (€ 66,687.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Red City von Anna Boghiguian wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including Baghdadiyat Part IIIraqi Masterpieces from the Jawdat, Madhloom and Selim Collections bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 10.200,00 (€ 11.975,76) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anna Boghiguian auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit El-Imam El Shafie, Cairo im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 57.550,00 (€ 66.687,94).
