Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Egyptianalexandria - Ramleh, June - Sept. by Anna Boghiguian for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 26,458.22). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century Art/ Middle East at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 24,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anna Boghiguian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work El-Imam El Shafie, Cairo, which sold at auction in November this year for GBP 57,550.00 (€ 66,687.94).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Egyptianalexandria - Ramleh, June - Sept. von Anna Boghiguian für GBP 23.750,00 (€ 26.458,22) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century Art/ Middle East bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 24.000,00 – 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Anna Boghiguian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit El-Imam El Shafie, Cairo beobachtet, die im November diesen Jahres für GBP 57.550,00 (€ 66.687,94) versteigert wurde.
