The work An old man by Anna Ancher was sold in the Paintings, drawings and icons auction at Bruun Rasmussen in June this year. The »bidding war« ended at DKK 75,000.00 (€ 10,068.68), 50% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Anna Ancher have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Little girls having a tea party in Nordstuen (the north-facing living room) in Anchers' house on Markvej, Skagen in December this year with an auction result of DKK 550,000.00 (€ 73,784.13).

Die Arbeit An old man von Anna Ancher wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Paintings, drawings and icons bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von DKK 75.000,00 (€ 10.068,68) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anna Ancher auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Little girls having a tea party in Nordstuen (the north-facing living room) in Anchers' house on Markvej, Skagen im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 550.000,00 (€ 73.784,13).
