Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Leda) by Anju Dodiya was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2008. Here, the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 67,000.00 (€ 42,391.65). Admittedly, works by Anju Dodiya have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cocoon in September last year with an auction result of USD 327,600.00 (€ 334,866.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Leda) von Anju Dodiya kam im März 2008 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 67.000,00 (€ 42.391,65) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anju Dodiya auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cocoon im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 327.600,00 (€ 334.866,61).
