Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 49,000.00 (€ 31,002.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anjolie Ela Menon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in March 2006 for USD 144,000.00 (€ 118,625.92).
