Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Arched Roman Ruins At Pozzuoli by Aniello Falcone for GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,764.42). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master Drawings at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aniello Falcone achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Battle between the Israelites and the Amalekites overlooked by Moses, his arms held aloft by Aaron and Hur in July 2017 with an auction result of GBP 62,500.00 (€ 69,740.40).
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Battle between the Israelites and the Amalekites overlooked by Moses, his arms held aloft by Aaron and Hur im Juli 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 62.500,00 (€ 69.740,40).
