Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Drawings including French Masterworks from the Dormeuil Collection, which included the work A Male Nude Walking To The Left by Aniello Falcone. The price achieved of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 3,999.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aniello Falcone achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Battle between the Israelites and the Amalekites overlooked by Moses, his arms held aloft by Aaron and Hur in July 2017 with an auction result of GBP 62,500.00 (€ 69,740.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2013 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Drawings including French Masterworks from the Dormeuil Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Male Nude Walking To The Left von Aniello Falcone zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 3.999,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aniello Falcone erzielen.
