In March 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Made In Britain, which included the work When I Woke Up In The Morning, The Feeling Was Still There by Angus Fairhurst. The auction ended at the price of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,765.11), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Angus Fairhurst achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Couple of Differences Between Thinking and Feeling II in March 2019 with an auction result of GBP 118,750.00 (€ 137,829.53).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im März 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Made In Britain durch, in der auch die Arbeit When I Woke Up In The Morning, The Feeling Was Still There von Angus Fairhurst zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.765,11) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Angus Fairhurst erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Couple of Differences Between Thinking and Feeling II im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 118.750,00 (€ 137.829,53).
