Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Natura morta by Angelo Cagnone was auctioned at Il Ponte in December 2014, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 200.00 – 250.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 180.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Angelo Cagnone achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dei pronomi in June 2016 with an auction result of EUR 4,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Natura morta von Angelo Cagnone im Dezember 2014 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 200,00 – 250,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 180,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Angelo Cagnone erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dei pronomi im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.000,00.
