In June 2016 Il Ponte held the auction Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, which included the work Testa by Angelo Cagnone. The auction ended at the price of EUR 1,800.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 1,600.00 – 1,800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Angelo Cagnone - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dei pronomi, which sold at auction in June 2016 for EUR 4,000.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2016 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea durch, in der auch die Arbeit Testa von Angelo Cagnone zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 1.800,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.600,00 – 1.800,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Angelo Cagnone mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dei pronomi beobachtet, die im Juni 2016 für EUR 4.000,00 versteigert wurde.
