Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Bush Plum, 1997 by Angelina Pwerle was sold in the Important Australian Art auction at Bonhams in Sydney in November 2021. Here, the upper estimate of AUD 9,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for AUD 9,225.00 (€ 8,173.12). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Angelina Pwerle - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work BUSH PLUM, 2006, which sold at auction in December 2020 for USD 25,200.00 (€ 20,605.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bush Plum, 1997 von Angelina Pwerle wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Important Australian Art bei Bonhams in Sydney versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von AUD 9.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für AUD 9.225,00 (€ 8.173,12) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Angelina Pwerle mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit BUSH PLUM, 2006 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2020 für USD 25.200,00 (€ 20.605,07) versteigert wurde.
